Tamara Lyn "Tamee" Watts of Olpe, Kansas entered into rest on December 18, 2019 at Midland Hospice Care in Topeka, Kansas.  She was 53 years old.  She was born on February 27, 1966 in Manchester, New Hampshire to Frank E. and Judith Y. Smith.

Tamee moved with her parents to Orange, California, and she attended Villa Park and Orange High Schools and was active in the student choir.  She moved to Kansas in 1997.

Tamee is survived by her husband, Alvin Watts of Olpe, Kansas; her mother, Judith Y. Smith of Orange, California; two daughters of Orange, California; a son and granddaughter of Washington; and three sons and a daughter of Kansas.  She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will take place on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Charter Funerals, Emporia Chapel, 501 W. 6th Avenue, Emporia, Kansas 66801.  The funeral service following the visitation will be officiated by Rev. James Scott.  Graveside service will take place at the Virgil Cemetery in Virgil, Kansas on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 12:30 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with arrangements.

Tamara Watts's husband, Alvin Watts, grew up in Howard, Kansas and attended the local schools.
