Allison Collins, age 95, of Elk Falls, Kansas, passed away December 17, 2019 at the Wilson Medical Center in Neodesha, Kansas.  She was born on December 2, 1024 in Little River, Kansas to Charles and Mellie (Crumm) Hatfield.

Allison lived in the Little River area most of her childhood.  On January 21, 1942, she married Oliver Oscar "Buck" Collins in Jasper, Arkansas.  They lived in Arkansas before moving to Colorado where she worked as a bus driver for St. Vrain School District in Longmont, Colorado for 27 years before her retirement.  She was preceded in death by her husband on December 19,  1997.

After her husband's death, Allison moved to Elk Falls, Kansas where she has lived for several years.  She loved her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, and great-great-grandchildren.  She loved nature, gardening, and making quilts and gifting them to friends and family.  She really enjoyed cooking and made wonderful pies.

Allison is survived by four children, Mike (Wilda) Collins of Howard, Kansas, Melody (Gene) Buescher of Springdale, Arkansas, Rebeka (Paul) Eck of Elk Falls, Kansas, and Jack (Becky) Collins of Platteville, Colorado; a daughter-in-law, Edsy Collins of Elk Falls, Kansas; grandchildren, Allison Slorf, Kim Bartelli, Andrew Jones, Kerry Eck, Matthew Buescher, Tina McIntire, Mark Collins, Amanda Heitmann, and Allison Collins; great-grandchidlren, Fiona Bartelli, Brittany Cifuentes, Abby Lawson, Jenna Palecki, Megthan Rodriguez, Kaden Jones, and Kaley Jones; and great-great-grandchildren, Connor Eck, Madeline Eck, Hugo Cifuentes, Oliver Cifuentes, Aiden Palecki, Addison Palecki, Delilah Rodriguez, and Lincoln Rodriguez.  She was preceded by her husband; her son, John Coollins; and her daughter, Robin Collins.

Church services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Elk Falls United Methodist Church in Elk Falls, Kansas with Pastor Dena Allison officiating.  Burial will follow at the Elk Falls Cemetery.  Family has suggested memorials to the Gideon's International, and those remembrances may be left in care of the Dickens Family Funeral Home, 209 N. Douglas, Sedan, Kansas 67361 which has been entrusted with arrangements.
