Jerry Edwin Gibson, 28, of Fredonia, Kansas, passed away December 7, 2019 at Fredonia Regional Hospital in Fredonia, Kansas.  He was born on March 29, 1991 in Neodesha, Kansas, the son of Carl E. and Ellen (J.) Evenson) Gibson.

Jerry was a graduate of Fredonia High School, Class of 2009.  He loved playing and watching baseball, going fishing, being active in track, and being with and helping his friends.  Most of all, Jerry loved being with his family.

Jerry is survived by his parents, Carl and Ellen Gibson of Fredonia, Kansas and siblings, Brandy Gibson of Wichita, Kansas, Elaina Miller of Fredonia, Kansas, Perry Coffey of Fredonia, Kansas, Ruby Bunyard of Fall River, Kansas, and Charlie Thompson of Chanute, Kansas.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Betty Evenson and Jerry and Mary Jane Gibson and Uncle Paul Evenson, Jr. 

Cremation has been requested with no services planned at this time.  Memorials have been suggested to the Fredonia Recreation- Baseball Program and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.countrysidefh.com.  Services have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 420 S. 20th Street, Fredonia, Kansas 66736.
