Dianne Marie McDow, age 64, of Longton, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly at her home on September 28, 2019.  She was born in Boise, Idaho on May 31, 1955 to Howard and Velma (Moore) Dixon.

Dianne attended different schools as the family made several moves before ending up in the Wichita, Kansas area.  Right out of school, Dianne began raising her family.  She was blessed with two sons and three daughters.  On February 22, 1980, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, William McDow.  Over the 39 years shared,  the couple would enjoy many things together:  camping, trips to Branson, spending time with children and grandchildren, and her fur babies.

Dianne loved collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia, but of course, most dear to her heart was her family.  She had worked various jobs through the years, her favorites being Kopco and most recently the Cozy In Cafe.  Her true passion in life was, without a doubt, caring for her family.  Dianne has raised children for the past 49 years and cherished every moment of it.  She will be remembered most for her sense of humor, loving spirit, her drive to brighten any situation, and her selflessness.  She was a person that would go without to make sure those all around her didn't.

Dianne's memories will live on with her husband, William McDow; her sons, Larry (Jenifer) Robertson and William "Billy" (Jenifer) McDow Jr; daughters, Bridgett McDow, Shannon Robertson (Tim) Brown, and Valerie McDow (Jimmy) Clarenson;  her brothers, Larry(Pat) Dixon and Gary Dixon; grandchildren, Kayla, Matthew, Nolan, Bradley, Kayci, Brittney, Zack, Seth, Alex, Jacob, Kristen, Daniel, and Miranda; and four great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life service was held on October 4, 2019 at the Longton Christian Community Church in Longton, Kansas with Pastor Terry Marta officiating.  Memorials would be graciously accepted by the family to assist with final costs, and they maybe sent in care of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Avenue, Coffeyville, Kansas 67337 which was entrusted with arrangements.  To leave the family a message of condolence, please visit www.fordwulfburnschapel.com.
