Wanda Lee Mills, age 88, of Moline, Kansas, passed away May 15, 2019 at the Eureka Nursing Ceneter in Eureka, Kansas.  She was born May 8, 1931 in Elk County, Kansas to George and Isabelle (Clarki) Tucker.

Wanda Lee was raised in Elk County and graduated from Moline High School.  Shortly after graduation, she married Beryle Mills and moved to Kansas City, Kansas where they began their family.  They were married until Beryle passed way in 1967 leaving her with four children to raise on her own.  She worked as a bookkeeper for the regional office of a grocery business until she retired.

Wanda enjoyed fishing and once bought a five-acre piece of land with a pond just to have a place for her and the kids to fish and camp.  She like to travel, taking her mother to Hawaii and the Bahamas, and accompanying Bob as a guest of his on company trips to Puerto Rico and Costa Rica.  She was a member of the Moline Christian church where she sang in the choir and was proud to have been a member since 1998.  She absolutely loved her church family.

Wanda is survived by her children, Bob Mills of Ottawa, Kansas, Cindy Klaudt of Kansas City, Kansas, and Tim Mills of Moline, Kansas; her grandson, Justin Klaudt and wife, Becky along with three other grandchildren; her great-grandson, Parker; her sister-in-law, Shirley Tucker; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Beryle; her parents; her oldest son, Rick Mills; and her only brother, Kenneth Tucker. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 A.M. AT THE Moline Christian church in Moline, Kansas.  Funeral service will be held on May 22, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., also at the church.  Burial will follow at the Moline City Cemetery.  Memorials in Wanda's name can be made tot he Moline Christian Church and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Services have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas 67349.
