Jerry Leroy Wunderlich, 72, of Atlanta, Kansas, passed away on April 24, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Piedmont, Kansas to proud parents, Carl and Emma (Kater) Wunderlich on January 29, 1947.
Jerry attended school in Piedmont, and on December 19, 1970, he married the love of his life, Donna Molter.  He was a heavy equipment operator for Martin Marietta and worked on township roads.  He also did ranch work. 

Jerry enjoyed camping, being outdoors, fishing, working with horses, and playing corn hole.  He also liked watching OU football and softball.  He had many dogs that were very special to him, but most of all, he loved being with his family.

Surviving to honor him in memory are his wife, Donna; sons, Carl and wife, Therisa, Keith and wife, Tamela, and son Jered and wife, Micki; grandchildren; Gunar, Michael, Braden, Karli, Haven, and Jace; his brother, Harry Wunderlich; and sisters, Betty Hamilton and Dottie Simons.

Graveside services were held at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Atlanta, Kansas on April 30, 2019.  Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, and donations may be sent in care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home, 803 Loomis Street, Winfield, Kansas 67156 which was in charge of arrangements.
