Marcene Louise Stevens passed away peacefully on March 12, 2019 at Lifespire Assisted Living in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.  She was born on February 2, 1958 to Robert Edward "Bob" and Pauline Louise (Coble) Bellar.

Marcene grew up in Howard, Kansas and graduated from West Elk High School.  She then earned a Bachelor's Degree from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas.  Throughout her working years, she was employed by Montgomery Ward, Lazarus, Famous Barr, and Macy's in the area of Fashion Merchandising and Purchasing.  She married Terry Stevens on December 3, 1983 at the First United Methodist Church in Howard, Kansas.

Marcene will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, wife, sister, and daughter.  She was always determined and in good spirits despite living with Multiple Sclerosis for many years.  She made a positive impression on everyone she met, and she will be missed.

Marcene is survived by her husband, Terry of Rancho Rio, New Mexico; her son, Evan and wife, Samantha Stevens and their children, Piper and Madelyn of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; her daughter and husband, Chelsea and Nick Robinson of Chicago, Illinois; her mother, Pauline Bellar-Brewster and husband, Vernon Brewster of Howard, Kansas; her brother, Mike and wife, Peggy Bellar of Howard, Kansas; her sister, Becky and husband, Keith Lanning of Independence, Kansas; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. "Bob" Bellar. 

Cremation has taken place, and a funeral service will be held at a later date at the First United Methodist Church in Howard, Kansas.  Memorial donations can be made to the National MS Society online at www.nationalmssociety.org or by mail at National MS Society, P.O.
