Izola G. Moore, age 102, a longtime resident of Howard, Kansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 12, 2019.  She was born December 27, 1916 in Elk County, Kansas, the daughter of Arthur and Agnes Rarick.

On November 15, 1936, she was united in marriage to Paul E. Moore, the love of her lie, and they were together for 73 years.  Most of that time was spent on their family farm near Howard.

Izola was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Howard, Kansas.  She also served on the Board of Directors for both the Howard Public Library and Twilight Manor Nursing Home.  She was employed by the First National Bank in Howard for 20 years, and much of that time she served as Head Teller.

Izola is survived by her daughter, Paula Pearson and husband, Richard of Derby, Kansas; her sons, Pat Moore of Overland Park, Kansas and Doug Moore of Rose Hill, Kansas; grandchildren, Chad Pearson, Shay Biron, Tasha Cook, Emily Moore-Alexander, and Garrett Moore; great-grandchildren, Satchel Biron, Chloe Bellerive, Linen Biron, Camryn Cook, Holden Cook, Sutton Cook, Lily Alexander, Ivy Alexander, and Abigal Alexander; great-great-grandchildren, Isla W. Biron, Lucca W. Biron, and Zolia Bellerive; and many extended family members and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, and one brother.

Funeral services were held on March 23, 2019 at the Howard United Methodist Church in Howard, Kansas followed by interment at Grace Lawn Cemetery in Howard.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Howard Methodist Church or the FountainView Nursing Home and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.countrysidefh,.com.  Services have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E.
