Paul Aaron Poore, age 82, of Eureka, Kansas and formerly of Fall River, Kansas, passed away February 14, 2019 in Eureka.  He was born on February 3, 1937 in Rogers, Arkansas to Marion Joseph and Dicy Marie (Pense) Poore.

Paul was a carpenter for most of his life.  On June 13, 1975, he married Betty (Marlow) Kirby in Miami, Oklahoma.

Paul is survived by his wife, Betty; his daughter, LaBretta Hughes of Fall River, Kansas; his stepdaughters, Brenda Daniels of Wichita, Kansas, Denise Lane of Rose Hill, Kansas, and Linda Hanzlik of Omaha, Nebraska; his brothers, Don Poore of Goodyear, Arizona, Pete Poore of Augusta, Kansas, Joe Poore of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, and Jay Poore of Goodyear, Arizona; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Poore; grandson, Brett Poore; stepson, Clifford Kilby; stepdaughter, Donna Brawner; brother, Billy Poore; and sisters, Helen Craddock-Irwin and Iris Emerson.

Graveside services were held at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta, Kansas on March 9, 2019.  Memorial donations may be made to the Eureka Nursing Home.  Arrangements were entrusted to Headley Funeral Chapel, 813 State Avenue, Augusta, Kansas 67010.
