Married---At the home of Newton Hill of Elk Falls, August 21, 1928 at 8 p.m., Elder Hill officiating, G. A. Fuller and Miss Maurine Bird, both of Longton, Kansas.  These young folks are quite well known in the community where they live.  The bride is a daughter of the late Carl Bird, and a niece of Mrs. Maud Frakes of Elk Falls.  She attended the Elk Falls high school two or three years, hence is well known and highly respected by the Elk Falls folks.  She has taught in the Cove school the past two years and is engaged to teach the same school the coming year.  Mr. Fuller has charge of an oil lease out south of Longton.  Mr. and Mrs. Fuler will make their home for this fall and winter in the lease house in the field where Mr. Fuller works and not far from the school where Mrs. Fuller will teach.  A host of friends wish the newly wedded couple a long and happy home life.
