Keith Alan Harrington, age 76, of rural Howard, Kansas, passed away on October 23, 2018 at his home.  He was the son of Charley C. Harrington and Hazel R. (Henderson) Harrington.

Keith graduated from Clearwater High School in Clearwater, Kansas and attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma.  He served proudly in the United States Marine Corps.  He was married to Margareta M. "Marga" Ubler.  Keith was a member of the American Legion Carter-Rader Post #149 of Howard, Kansas and the Equine Research Program of the American Quarter Horse Foundation.

Keith is survived by his children, Daniel (Kathleen) Lee of Mesa, Arizona, and Steven (Angie) Lee of Wichita, Kansas; his dear friend, Charmaine Ryan of Howard, Kansas; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley Harrington and Hazel Harrington-Lucas; his wife, Margareta; and his grandson, Steven Keith Lee.

Visitation with family present will take place on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary, 200 S. Tracy, Clearwater, Kansas.  A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Cox Building, 100 W. Washington, Howard, Kansas followed by a military memorial service at 2:30 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Equine Research Program of the American Quarter Horse Foundation, P.O. Box 32111, Amarillo, Texas 79120 or the American Legion Carter-Rader Post #149, P.O. Box 865, Howard, Kansas 67349.
