Francis Ray Morgan of Howard, Kansas passed away on October 18, 2018 at the age of 80 in Howard. He was born February 11, 1938 to Wilbert and Esther (Wucherphenig) Morgan in Eureka, Kansas.

Frances graduated from Howard High School in Howard, Kansas with the Class of 1956.  He was married to Kathryn Alice "Kathy" Ruby on December 5, 1970 and had two children.

Francis was a hard worker, employed for many years as the City of Howard gas and sewer supervisor.  He was also known for his handyman skills.

Francis is survived by his son, Dale Morgan of Caney, Kansas; his daughter, Barbara Morgan of Howard, Kansas; and his brother, Donald Morgan and his wife, Lois of Pleasanton, Texas.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn; his parents, Wilbert and Esther Morgan; and his brother, Robert Morgan.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lawn Cemetery in Howard, Kansas.  The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society which may be left with or sent to the funeral home.  Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas is in charge of arrangements.
