Lois Arlene Hull, age 81, of Sedan, Kansas, passed away October 1, 2018 at the Sedan City Hospital in Sedan, Kansas.  She was born on May 22, 1937 in Piedmont, Kansas to Edmund Wayne Agard and Verna Marie (Wade) Agard.

Arlene grew up in Piedmont and graduated from Piedmont High School.  She married Floyd Hull, and they later divorced.  She lived in El Dorado, Kansas and Howard, Kansas before moving to Sedan where she lived for many years.  Arlene worked at USD #262 in Sedan as a cafeteria worker until her retirement in 2001.  She was a member of the First Christian Church in Sedan.  She taught Sunday School and helped with the nursery.

Arlene is survived by two sons, Floyd E. Hull and G. Alan Hull, both of Sedan, Kansas; three daughters, Karen R. Zimmerman of Peru, Kansas, Linda M. Tyler of Sedan, Kansas, and Carol R. Kill of Longton, Kansas; one sister, Nadine Hancock; 15 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren with three more on the way.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; one brother; and one granddaughter.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Dickens Family Funeral Home in Sedan, Kansas.  Church services will be held Friday, October 5, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Sedan with Pastor Penny Goldberg officiating.  Burial will follow at the Piedmont Cemetery in Piedmont, Kansas.  The family has suggested memorials to the American Stroke Association and the American Diabetes Association, and those may be left in care of the Dickens Family Funeral Home, 209 N. Douglas, Sedan, Kansas 67361 which is in charge of arrangements.
