Connie Marie Wunderlich, 75, passed away on September 9, 2018 in Wichita, Kansas.  She was born on August 30, 1943 on a farm near Galesburg, Kansas to Albert Leroy "Red"Fouts and Dorothy (Buckley) Fouts.

Connie attended school in Cherryvale, Kansas until 1959 when the family moved to the Piedmont, Kansas area.  She graduated from Howard High School in Howard, Kansas in 1961.  She was united in marriage to Harry Wunderlich in Piedmont in 1964.  She worked numerous jobs in the Piedmont and Severy areas as well as working at Wal-Mart in Augusta, Kansas.  Connie loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed church, country music, and western movies.

Connie is survived by her husband, Harry Sr. of the home; sons, Harry Jr. (Karen)  and David, both of Piedmont, Kansas, Jack (Jennifer) of Grenola, Kansas; and Bill (Suzie) of Severy, Kansas; grandchildren, Chenise (Steffan), Lane, Brandon, Kelsey, Jake, and Barret; brothers, Jim of Salem, Illinois, Sam (Kathy) of Augusta, Kansas, and Roy (Stacy) of Douglass, Kansas; sisters, Anna Ebert of Ft. Collins, Colorado; Betty Davis of Coffeyville, Kansas, Billie (Randy) Martin of Douglass, Kansas, Ruth (Mike) Lillibridge of Rose Hill, Kansas; and Deniese (Bruce) Jones of Augusta, Kansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded by her parents; one daughter; two grandsons; and one brother.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta, Kansas.  Funeral service will be held at the Piedmont Gymnasium in Piedmont, Kansas on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at the Piedmont Cemetery.  The family suggests memorials contributions be made out to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and may be left in care of Dunsford Funeral Home, 201 E. Fifth Avenue, Augusta, Kansas 67010.
