Susan Ann Wells of Vian, Oklahoma passed away on August 30, 2018 at Vian Nursing and Rehabilitation at the age of 66.  She was born on March 18, 1952 in Neodesha, Kansas and attended local schools there.

In May 1969, Susan was united in marriage to John Lou Kelley in Independence, Kansas.  To this union, three children were born.  This marriage later ended in divorce.  Susan moved to Okmulgee, Oklahoma in the late 70s where she was united in marriage to Jack McTague.  To this union, one son was born.  This marriage later ended in divorce.  In the early 80s, Susan returned to Kansas, working for the nursing home in Eureka, Kansas.  She later moved to Howard, Kansas and was united in marriage to Fred Wells.  He preceded her in death in May 1998.

Susan is survived by four children, Teresa Jeanneret of Eureka, Kansas, Melinda Perkens of Vian, Oklahoma, Michele Jordan of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, and Kevin McTague of Riverview, Florida; nineteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Richard Drake of Eureka, Kansas.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Wells; and her brother, Ernest Drake.

Funeral services were held on September 4, 2018 at the Toronto Cemetery in Toronto, Kansas with Pastor Jerry Clark officiating.  The family has requested that memorials be made to the DaVita Redbird Smith Dialysis, Sallisaw, Oklahoma.  Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O.
