Fred M. Bahr, age 79, of Howard, Kansas, passed away on September 2, 2018 in Eureka, Kansas after an extended illness.  Fred was born on May 4, 1939 in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Carrol Bahr and Grace Hermann.

The family will greet friends on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas.  An additional visitation will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Parker-Price Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence, Topeka, Kansas.  Interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery, 2616 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas at a later date.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.countrysidefh.com.  The family has requested memorials to go to the Fred Bahr Memorial in care of West Elk Schools in Howard, Kansas and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E.
