Mary L. "Pat" Graham, age 98, passed away March 30, 2018 at Pleasant Valley Nursing Center.  Pat was born September 19, 1919 in Severy, Kansas, the daughter of Chesley and Hazel (Reed) Patrick.

Pat was a graduate of Severy High School.  She married Robert C. "Bob" Spunaugle, and he died in 1960.  She then married Lyle J. Graham, and he passed away in 1987. 

In her early years, Pat attended and was a member of the Severy United Methodist Church.  She sequentially owned and operated for many years the Little Bear, Pat and Bob's and the Pondersoa restaurants, all located around the Severy area.  Pat was well-known for her pies at these restaurants. 

Pat was dedicated to her restaurants, wanting to make sure everyone was well taken care of.  She enjoyed visiting with all of the customers and spending time with them.  Her free time was devoted to her real passion, fishing.  Most of all, she enjoyed being with the love of her life, her son, Gary.

Pat is survived by her son, Gary and wife, Deborah Spunaugle of Alexandria, Virginia.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Robert "Bob" Spunaugle and Lyle Graham; a sister, Lorraine Redmond, and a brother, Lee Patrick. 

Cremation has been requested.  A memorial service will be held for her at the end of May 2018 at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas with inurnment of her ashes at the Grace Lawn Cemetery in Howard to follow.  When the date is confirmed, it will be published.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Memorials have been suggested to the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center Activities Department and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.  Services are entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 420 S. 20th Street, Fredonia, Kansas 66783.
