Brent Bowen, age 43, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away February 13, 2018 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas.  Born December 3, 1974 in Independence, Kansas, he was the son of Bruce and Sharon (Heisler) Bowen.

His family includes his parents, Bruce and Sharon Bowen of Independence, Kansas; his sisters, Sasha Cook of Independence, Kansas and Stephanie Starling of Overland Park, Kansas; his nephews, Curtis and Kalin Cook; his grandmother, Winifred Heisler; and his caregivers and roommates at Easter Seals Capper Foundation in Winfield, Kansas. 

Cremation has been effected by Miles Funeral Service of Winfield, Kansas.  Memorial services will be held at a later date at Easter Seals Capper Foundation.

Brent Bowen's mother, Sharon (Heisler) Bowen, grew up in Howard, Kansas and graduated from North Elk High School,  the daughter of Leland and Winifred Heisler.
