Julian Randel Cochran, age 89, of Moline, Kansas, passed away February 16, 2018 at the Westview Manor in Derby, Kansas.  He was born on December 2, 1928 in Moline, Kansas, the son of Ellis and Mary (Julian) Cochran.

Julian was a graduate of Moline High School Class of 1946.  On December 13, 1952, he married Mary Lou DeMoss in Moline, Kansas.  Julian worked most of his life on their farm and in the oil fields.  He enjoyed working in their garden, listening to country music, raising cattle, but most of all he loved being with his wife, Mary Lou.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Mary Lou, and his son Gary Cochran of Wichita, Kansas.  Julian was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Naomi Welch.

Cremation has been requested.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Moline United Methodist Church in Moline, Kansas.  Memorials have been suggested to the Moline United Methodist Church and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Services are entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E.
