Dorothy Marie Goss passed away October 31, 2017.  She was born in Howard, Kansas on July 12, 1940, the youngest of eight children of Edward James and Alice (Poole) Morris.

Dorothy was a spirited, strong, and independence loving mother of modest and humble nature.  She raised three daughters on her own.  She enjoyed the outdoors and spending time in her yard tending to her plants and flowers.  Her favorite animals were elephants, and she collected different types of elephants from stuffed to porcelain over many years.  Her great love, however, was spending time with her three daughters and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She retired as Department Manager from the Burlington Coat Factory in Wichita, Kansas after nearly 30 years of service.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Cathy (Mark) Clemence and Connie (Joel) Gress; grandchildren, Alisha Gingerich, Jason (Jennifer) Gingerich, Misti (Ty) Hamilton, Coltin Unruh, Trevor Kelly, and Jenna (Spencer) O'Daniel; great-grandchildren, Casey, Ashton, Jaden, and Jacee Gingerich and Tripp and Jax Hamilton; her beloved pet, Bandit; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Wayne Kelly; her parents, Edward "Ed" and Alice Morris; her granddaughter, Amanda Clemence; and all of her siblings, Edith Shipman, Ruth Hedges, Willard Morris, Coretta Webster, Eugene "Gene" Morris, Lewis Morris, and Chester "Chet" Morris.
