Ralph Edward Gaddis, age 58, of Sedan, Kansas, passed away September 5, 2017 at the Sedan City Hospital in Sedan, Kansas.  He was born on July 6, 1959 to Irvin Eugene Gaddis and Mary Jane Russell in Wichita, Kansas. 

Ralph grew up in Topeka, Kansas where he attended Topeka High School.  He later received his GED.  He lived in Lubbock, Texas for 25 years and worked as a truck driver for many years.  He moved to Sedan to be closer to his family about 5 months ago.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, and going on rides in his truck.

Ralph is survived by one daughter, Nicole Bitenieks of Washington; one son, Steven Edward Gaddis of Topeka, Kansas; his mother, Mary Jane Bahr and stepfather, Fred Bahr of Howard, Kansas; his father, Irvin Gaddis of Topeka, Kansas; one sister, Marla Bailey and husband, Chris of Hoyt, Kansas; one brother, Robert Gaddis of Jay, Oklahoma, and numerous grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.  Dickens Family Funeral Home of Sedan, Kansas is in charge of arrangements.
