Fredonia Daily Herald, 5th:  The marriage of Miss Lennie Baker and Lon Furrow both of Howard occurred Sunday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nichols of Fredonia.  The ring ceremony was performed by Rev. C. O. Wilson, pastor of the First Christian church of Fredonia in the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Nichols, Mrs. C. E. Nichols, Mr. and Mrs. Forest Parsons, and Miss Dorothy Nichols and Miss Alleen Carr.  Mrs. Nichols served a delicious wedding dinner at which only Mr. and Mrs. Furrow, Mr. Furrow's mother, Mrs. J. P. Jensen and his brother, John Jenson of Fall River; Mr. and Mrs. Parsons, and Mr. and Mrs. Nichols were present. Mr. Furrow is engaged in the produce business at Howard and he and his bride will make their home at that place.

Ah, Lois, we have done it again.  Lon Furrow was my step-father-in-law.  I don't know just when his marriage to this young lady broke up, but he married my husband's mother, Thelma Tice Weyrauch sometime after the death of her husband, George Weyrauch, in 1935.  Lon died in 1982 and Thelma died in 2003.  They had lived in Severy from 1952 to the times of the deaths.
