Darrel Dean Dameron, 83, passed away May 10, 2017. 

Darrel served four years in the United States Navy and was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for over 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Darline (Goodnight) Dameron; his children, Bryan (Melissa) Dameron, Chad (Kris) Dameron, Gary Barrett, and Karen Barrett-Carlile; his sister, Barbara (Mike) Graham; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. 

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Grace Lawn Cemetery in Howard, Kansas.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with St. Cecila Catholic Church, 1912 W. Grand, Haysville, Kansas or Rivercross Hospice, 2515 Whittier Street, Wichita, Kansas.  Smith Family Mortuaries of Derby, Kansas is in charge of arrangements.

Darline Dameron, wife of Darrel Dameron, grew up in Howard, Kansas and graduated from Howard High School in 1951.  She is the daughter of the late Ed and Alice Goodnight.
