Leah Jean "Jeannie" Shore, age 61 of Talala, Oklahoma, passed away on May 4, 2017.  She was born on July 3, 1955 at Chanute, Kansas.  She graduated from Moline High School in Moline, Kansas in 1973 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Southwestern Oklahoma University in Weatherford, Oklahoma.  She then received a Master's Degree from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Jeannie married Michael Lee Shore on April 14, 1973 at the First Baptist Church in Moline, Kansas.  Two children were born to this union, Tisha Marie and Michael Travis.  She enjoyed crocheting, drinking early morning coffee with Mike overlooking the lake at their home, and especially loved spoiling her grandchildren.  Family, friends, and her financial aid career were Jeannie's love and joy.  She was truly loved and will be missed.

Jeannie is survived by her husband, Mike; daughter, Tisha and her husband, Cal; son, Travis and his wife, April; and her grandchildren, Taylor, Jackson, and Kaelyn.  She is also survived by her sister, Teri Alena Straw and her husband, Zack; and brothers, Roy "Chip" Zadlot Jr. and his wife, Laurie, Gary Barkley and his wife, Angela, and Jimmy Jadlot-Roe and his husband, Tim.   Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Henry and Rosetta Mann Barkley and Mary Lou Van Dyke Hudson; a sister, Alberta Lynn DeWitt; and a brother, Charles Alva Barkley. 

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Stumpff Funeral Home, 1600 SE Washington Boulevard in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  The memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the St. John Before the Latin Gate Catholic Church in Bartlesville.  Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Moline Cemetery in Moline, Kansas.  Family suggests memorials to the Family Crisis and Counseling Center or the St. John Catholic Church, both in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  Friends who wish may sign the online guest book and leave condolences at www.stumpff.org.  Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home of Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
