Irene Elizabeth Beaumont passed away May 2, 2017.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Christian Community Church in Longton, Kansas.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the  Elk Valley High School Gym in Longton, Kansas.  Interment will follow at the Longton Cemetery.

Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel of Coffeyville, Kansas is in charge of arrangements.

Irene Elizabeth Beaumont, age 92, of Longton, Kansas, passed away May 2, 2017 surrounded by her family at the home of her granddaughter, Crystal Wonser of Independence, Kansas.  She was born on July 26, 1924 in Bonner Springs, Kansas to Daisy Etta Hooker. 

Irene attended a country school in rural Oklahoma where she completed the 6th grade.  Later in 1985, she received her GED.  She was married to Lacey Albert.  He preceded her in death in 1958.  The couple was blessed with a son, Frank, and two daughters, Virgie and Cathy.  She was then united in marriage to George Beaumont.  He preceded her in death in 1991.  To this union the couple was blessed with a son, Brian.

Irene spent her time being a mother and grandmother, taking care of the needs of the home and farm.  She enjoyed her grandchildren, cooking, sewing,  crocheting, tending to her flower beds, writing songs and poems, attending church, and most of all, reading her Bible.  She was a member of the Helping Hand Club and started a kids group at her church called, "Candles".  Irene will be remembered for her contagious smile, her loving hugs, and most of all, for her genuine kind heart.  She loved God, her children, her grandchildren, and her community.

Her memories will live on through her daughter, Cathy Satterfield of Greenfield, Missouri; her son, Brian Beaumont and wife, Brenda of Longton, Kansas; 21 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and 28 great-great-grandchildren.  Irene now rests with God, her heavenly Father, her father and mother, Daisy Fuller; two brothers, Leroy and Bobby Fuller; her sister, Maryann Fuller; her husbands, Lacy Albert and George Beaumont; her son, Frank Albert; and her daughter, Virgie Hunter.

Friends are invited to sign the register and greet the family on Friday, May 5, 21017 at the Longton Christian Community Church in Longton, Kansas from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  A funeral service under the direction of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel of Coffeyville, Kansas will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Elk Valley High School Gymnasium in Longton, Kansas at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at the Longton Cemetery.  The family suggests memorials be made payable to Longton Christian Community Church which may be sent in care of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Avenue, Coffeyville, Kansas 67337.  To leave the family a message of condolence, please visit www.fordwulbrunschapel.com
