Kim Karen Hisle, age 57, passed away March 21, 2017.  She was born on August 29, 1959 to William Gus "Willie" and Kimmie Marie Schumacher in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Kim was raised in Corpus Christi and graduated from Tuloso-Midway High School in 1977.  She married her husband of 23 years, Gary Hisle, on July 6, 1993.  Kim was a loving mother to Thomas (Michelle) Hisle and grandmother to Amelia Hisle.

In 1982, Kim began her career with Gemini Engine Company in Corpus Christi.  She transferred with the product line to Oshkosh, Wisconsin in 2003 and followed the product line to Houston, Texas in 2011.  After 31 years with Gemini, she started working as Operations Manager for Truerock Compression Supply in 2013.

Kim will always be remembered for her integrity, strong will, determination, and attention to detail.  She was a woman of abiding faith who is blessed by the peace of God which surpasses all understanding.

Kim was a United States Bowling Congress Women's City Champion of Corpus Christi in 1984.  She was inducted into the USBC Hall of Fame in 1990.  She enjoyed scorekeeping with her father, Willie, for many years at CC Speedway.  She also enjoyed working as a scorer in the large Scoring Department at Texas World Speedway where she was well-respected and considered to be one of the best.  Kim was known as an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

Kim is survived by her husband, Gary D. Hisle; her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Amelia Hisle and granddaughters, Amelia Hisle, all of Aranas Pass, Texas; her mother-in-law, Ruth Hisle of Brownsville, Texas; her brother-in-law, Richard (Betty)  Hisle of Portland, Texas; and her aunt, Norma Schumacher of Corpus Christi, Texas, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Marie; her father-in-law, Richard W. "Dick" Hisle; and her uncle, Walter Schumacher.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel, 4357 Ocean Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m.  Emtombment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kim's name to your favorite charitable organization or to Peewee's Pet Adoption, 1307 Saratoga Boulevard, Corpus Christi, Texas 78417.

Gary Hisle, husband of Kim, grew up in Moline, Kansas.  His parents were Richard "Dick" and Ruth Hisle, longtime Moline residents.
