"We honor Jefferson, but live in Hamilton's country."  And so it is.  The Southern political philosophy of Jeffersonian Conservatism that died with Grover Cleveland has never been resurrected, for today we have no major party that espouses those values.  It is only alive in the hearts of true Sons of the South.
