 . . . . we can all hope. Well, at least I can hope. The Venetians want out of Italy, The Irish and Scots out of Great Britan, the Catalonians and the Basque out of Spain, even the Greeks were sqeaking about leaving the EU. And then Brexit came along. Things haven't been going well for the global elitists. Globalism is screwing with peoples' lives, with families' well-being and safety.

How long has Quebec wanted out of Canada? And Texas has always been rumored to want out of the US, to become the original Texas Republic again. And just such a movement was introduced into the Texas legislature this year (it did not go anywhere). Of course to become the Texas Republic again, Texas would have to take Oklahoma and much of New Mexico with it. How likely could that be?

Other areas of the US have gossiped about secession in some ways. Of course, part of the 'Old South' always talks of restoring the Confederacy. Michigan's Upper Peninsula has wanted out of Michigan for years, to be a new State. Maine has mentioned secession. California has spoken of breaking into six different states, with (at least) petitions being signed to start the process. And stae-wide California secessionists met at the State Legislature on election day. About six counties in Colorado made noise to leave their State several years ago. The idea of rearranging or erasing political lines on maps is not new to the US. Neither is secession. The original thirteen colonies seceded from the Crown.

And now Trump has been declared The Tyrant by the press and the left for over a year, without ever giving him the chance to prove he is one. And he might just become one, time will tell. The globalists do not own him today . . . . maybe they will buy him down the road.

But why wait and see. Let's start protests, let's destroy property and vent our displeasure, as discussed in the link below. Even if George Soros might be paying the protesters.

The article is about Oregonians that are ready to secede. A ballot proposal is in the works. HURRAY!! Now the left and the right in America are talking about it. May the dialogue continue. May something positive come of it. Imagine a Constitutional Convention where resolutions are approved by enough States to dissolve the federal government. What, you cannot imagine that? Or you do not want it to happen? Did you ever imagine the old Soviet Union would dissolve? It did so in 1991 by resolution, without a shot being fired. It can also happen in this country. For freedom to reign, for diversity to fully express itself, for representative government to truly represent, all fifty states need to separate and reorganize among themselves. Some would opt for joining into new federalist unions, others a socialist union, some would want to organize around a confederation, and others would remain independent. It would mean CHOICES for people, diversity in governance and expression instead of uniformity. What would Kansans do?

The left in America is awakening to the idea, hopefully joining the right and both 'sides' working together. Now that would be a first [like Amberg and Redcliff working together ;<)]. And we/I would have Sir Donald's election to thank for it. This election may spawn changes in ways not expected by the pundits or the populace.

Let 'em go - self-determination - secession is OK.

The liberals are not leaving because the liberals want the control to tell you what to do by and thru government.  The liberals need you and it's getting to the place it'll be a crime to leave the uSA.  They want to force you attend their government schools.  They want to force you to wear seat belts.  Are you complying with their forced desires for you?

The liberals want to run this country like Cuba, Zimbabwe, the old Soviet Union, North Korea or any combination thereof.

Can Trump head 'em off or will he be working with 'em?

That is the question for 2017, isn't it!? Will he work against the collective, or become part of it? Or more a part of it than he already is.

When secession occurs, it will be interesting to see how states like those in New England make do. Of course they will want all the entitlement programs they have now. The kicker will be how to pay for them. Time to tighten the belt, but where and how. The same for Ecotopia/Cascadia. That will become some sort of green state, with all resource use eliminated or under severe regulations. Where is their money going to come from, their typical 4-month tourist season (when it isn't raining)? I don't think so. I wish their secession movement all the best luck, I just do not think Ecotopia/Cascadia will survive in the form its current supporters envision.

They're not gonna secede.  They'll stay around for government assistance that the Republicans will continue to offer. 

Just because the wicked and evil Hillary has been defeated, the protesters and the Republicans will continue their tyrannical ways.  Democrats will be there to support 'em all.  Count on it.

The media is subsidized by the big spenders in government and political campaigns.

The never ending "click-it or Ticket" ads are just one example.  These ads are paid by the Fed's and the State to the media.  Radio, TV and newspapers just love the money.  Why don't they make money in an honest way?  Propaganda backed and enforced by government approved law enforcement.  This stuff is happening in America and we ought to be against this Federal and State tyranny.
