QuoteRANDOM THOUGHT?? ARE THERE ANY OTHER KIND??  YOU KNOW....WHY IS GRASS GREEN AND HOW DO WE KNOW THAT GREEN IS GREEN AND NOT BLUE AND HOW DO WE KNOW THAT A TREE IS A TREE AND NOT GRASS??? WHO MADE UP THE WORDS FOR THESE THINGS AND WHO MADE THE COLORS THE COLORS THAT THEY SAY THEY ARE? OKAY...JUST A RANDOM THOUGHT.....ISN'T THAT WHAT YOU WANTED?  JEEEZZZZ....I AM SO CONFUSED NOW....OH WELL...I WILL FORGET IT IN A BIT....FORGET WHAT?  I AM NOT SURE...I FORGOT......HAHAHAHA

grass is green because of the chlorophyll. an even more scientific answer is that the grass is green because all other colors are absorbed except for the green, which is reflected, which is why we see green.

"The origin of the word "green" lies in the ancient word "ghro" which means "grow and prosper"."

A tree is a tree because: "A perennial woody plant having a main trunk and usually a distinct crown."
Grass is grass because: "Any of various plants having slender leaves characteristic of the grass family."

Why  does a brown cow eat green grass and give white milk?
Millie

Milk is white because of the protein called casein. Also, the cream in milk contains white colored fat as well. The more cream in the milk, the more white it is.

Several things I am wondeing about...

#1 Can you cry under water? :'(

#2  Why do you have to "put your two cents in".. . but it's only a "penny for
your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to?  :-\

#3  Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars
to look at things on the ground?

#4  Why is there a light in the fridge and not in the freezer? 8)

#5  Can blind people see their dreams? Do they dream?

#6  Do the Alphabet song and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star have the same tune?

Why did you just try singing the two songs above?

Add "Baa, baa, black sheep, have you any wool?" to the same-tune category.

I don't know the answer, but I'll add the song!  :D

#1 Can you cry under water? yup

#2  Why do you have to "put your two cents in".. . but it's only a "penny for
your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to? -

""Put my two cents in" originates from the older "put my two bits in" and has its origin in the game of poker.  When playing poker you have to make a small bet before the cards are dealt called an "ante" to begin play in that hand.
This phrase draws an analogy to the poker ante (two bits) and gains your entry into the conversation."

#3  Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars
to look at things on the ground? - so they can look down certain people's shirts... :o

#4  Why is there a light in the fridge and not in the freezer?  ???  they puts lights in the freezer

#5  Can blind people see their dreams? Do they dream?

" Yes, blind people do dream. What they see in their dreams depends on how much they could ever see. If someone has been totally blind since birth, they only have auditory dreams. If someone such as I, has had a measure of sight, then that person dreams with that measure of sight. I still dream as though I can see, colors included. For people I've met since, their faces are just blurs or how I imagine they look. To me, someone like my mother looks forever 30. "

#6  Do the Alphabet song and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star have the same tune?

The alphabet song, twinkle twinkle, and baa baa black sheep all do have the same tune.

;D
