The Flag of the KKK . . . .

The KKK has always claimed the American flag as their flag . The Klan saw itself as defending American culture against dangerous foreigners and their ideas . It carried the American flag rather than the Confederate Flag .

By the way, the original KKK ceased to exist in the 1870's.  The modern KKK is yankee and it's not connected to the original.
