That's something to agree with Reagan.  Reagan slowed down the socialist movement but why didn't Reagan do more?  Looks like Americans see themselves more like the Bushes, Clintons and Obama instead of the Founders.

Reagan was the first Republican I voted for.  Looking back I'd still vote for him even though he didn't do enough and did some liberal things.  Reagan was Republican with the FDR blend which is modern Democrat, not Jeffersonian.

Reagan was more conservative before he became President - at least he acted like he was more conservative.

Reagan was going to abolish the Dept. of Education but he never did.  The Education Dept is one of the things Republicans (and modern Democrats like) - and of course the Dept of Education is there to command and oversee the indoctrination of young people in America.  The socialists comrades in Education industry and teachers' unions love it.

It's looking like we'll never be able tp elect another as "conservative" as Reagan.   People and corporations want the Fed's to care for them.  Even many Republicans were very upset with Reagan because they thought that they'd go broke without assistance of government programs.  So much for weaning Republicans - they ball like a heard of calves taken from their mothers. 

Glad we agree on Reagan and a few other things.
