Harvey Lewis Anderson, age 85, formerly of Grenola, Kansas, passed away July 12, 2016 in Gresham, Oregon.  He was born March 14, 1931 in Minnewaukan, North Dakota, the son of Allen and Clara (Christansen) Anderson.

In 1951, Harvey married Bernice Lowder in Vancouver, Washington.  To this union five children were born.  Harvey loved camping and fishing, especially with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was a very dedicated family man and stayed active until his recent illness.

Harvey is survived by his son, Glen Anderson and wife, Pat of Gresham, Oregon; his son, Teresia Anderson of Gresham, Oregon; his brother, Dennis Anderson and wife, Diane of Milwaukee, Oregon; his sister, Marion Archaenberger of Spokane, Washington; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice; his parents, Allen and Clara; and his children, Cindy Keil, Dianna Langley, and Mike Langley.

Graveside services were held on July 20, 2016 at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Grenola, Kansas.  Family suggests memorials to the Muscular Dystrophy Association and may be left with or mailed to Countryside Funeral Home, P.O.
