Opal Leona Hileman was born March 14, 1904, died July 17, 1911, age 7 years, 4 months, 3 days.

She leaves father, mother, one sister and two brothers to mourn her early departure.

"Just why the Master called we do not know;
Perhaps His garden needs the flower so sweet,
Perhaps it is to teach us here below
That earthly life is never quite complete.
We lift our eyes to strong eternal hills,
The hope of resurrection guilds their sod;
A holy peace our troubled spirit fills--
We know our darling is a home with God."

The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. T. A. Nichols in the Christian church.  Interment in Grace Lawn cemetery.
