Wanda R. Clark, age 78, of Howard, Kansas and formerly of Conway Springs, Kansas, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka, Kansas.  Wanda was born June 26, 1937 in Howard, Kansas, the daughter of Eugene and Hazel Laura (Van Buskirk) Lanning.

Wanda graduated from Howard High School in 1955, and on June 26, 1955, she married Robert "Bob" Clark at the First Baptist Church in Howard, Kansas.  Bob and Wanda lived in Conway Springs, Kansas for 47 years.  She enjoyed gardening, taking pictures, and watching birds and wildlife. She was known for her cooking, especially her cookies and cinnamon rolls.  She loved to feed everyone.  She enjoyed playing softball, and she and Bob were on a bowling team for years.  Her greatest joy, though, was spending time with family.  She loved to spoil the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Robert, of the home; sons, Tony Michael Clark and wife, Karen of Wichita, Kansas and Steven Clark of St. Clair, Michigan; brothers, Melvin Thomas Lanning  and Larry Gilbert Lanning, both of Howard, Kansas and Terry Wayne Lanning and wife, Rita of Coffeyville, Kansas; sisters, Mary Elaine Wade and husband, Roy of Eureka, Kansas and Kathy Elizabeth Fouts and husband, Sammy of Augusta, Kansas; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Roger Alan Clark; her brother, Bill Lanning; and her sister, Phyllis Friend.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Cremation will follow with burial at a later date.  Family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Foundation and may be left with the funeral home.  Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas 67349 is in charge of the arrangements.

Our Condolences to the Family, Wanda was a really Nice person. Wanda's Parents were Really Hard Working People and raised many fine children. Bob and Family and Tommy and your Family are in our Prayers. May The Good Lord Love and Keep Wanda, I know she is going home to be with Her Parents and her Brother and Sister that went before her.
