I am trying to locate a descendant of Perry & Flora Amy (Carpenter) Sprague.  The Spragues owned and operated a general merchandise store at Busby for approximately 75 years.  They had six children - Warren, Jessie (who married Cash McDonald), Josie (who married James Davis), Eunice (who married George Dame), Winfred, and Robert Sprague.

Marcia,

I know a Robert Sprague.  He lives in Grenola.  He is an old man married to Renee Wells mother.  Renee is the postmaster at Grenola.  You probably know her.

Robert Sprague moved to Howard several years ago after retiring as a psychologist or psychiatrist I think in Missouri.  I never did know his connection here.  After living in Howard, he bought some property just north of Boyd Koehn and Sam Trigg at Elk Falls.  Robert lived in a trailer house there until he married Renee Wells mother, Helen Werth.  Now they live in Grenola.  Give Renee a call.  She would be listed with Richard Wells who is her husband or at the post office.

The last name is even spelled the same.

Marcia, The daughter, Winifred, was my fifth grade school teacher.  She was married to Harold Van Buskirk and they lived in Moline.  Winifred had a daughter, Darlene, who married Frank Bruner.  They made their home in Moline, also.  Darlene and Frank had some children.  Among them are Rod and Alan Bruner of Moline.

Darlene's obit may be found on the Elk County Genweb page, under Obituaries. I also Googled some of the names you had listed and found additional information that way.

Hope this helps.
