Thank you Wilma. You understand how I feel too. It's a shame that my attachment to Howard and Elk County annoys some so much. I will be sending another little donation for the pool and Roma Jean's scholarship later this spring.

Oh yes, some has said it is Free Money, go back and read the many times I have called it Free money.

Is the money going to be aid back with interest? NO

Hence FREE MONEY.

Ross this all started out as a conversation. Now you have turned into an argument. Why do you always have to blame Elk Konnected for everything that you do not agree with? If our commissioners are so stupid, why do you not run for their office?

If Ross had his way the large portion of this county that is owned by the out of area people that come down here and snatch up all the dirt cheap property would get more tax breaks and us local yokels would be paying for the roads and fire depts.ect...But giving money away for the sake of giving money away isn't right either

Not really upoladeb, I simply said if the county government doesn't want the money they should return it to the taxpayer rather than give it away.

I agree with you, returning the money to the taxpayer would be a bad idea.

However, it is not a function of Elk County Government to be Liberal Socialists.

I profoundly suggested that the County Government invest the money and let it grow.
Kon nected Kounty Kommissioner Kaminska pointed out during that County Commissioners Meeting that the county population is suppose to decline by 35% over the years and that it will be difficult to perform County business.

I told her there was a very good reason to save the money and invest it, instead of giving away Free Money..

This all is poasted on the Politics category. 

Why would two of three (2 of 3) Republican County Commissioners be supporting left wing ideology like the Elk Konnected?  Probably because it's only natural for most Republicans to do that.

By the way, why do you call it "Wind Farm Income" or Wind Farm Money instead of County Money?  Does it sound better to give away Wind Farm Money instead of County Money?  It's County Money and you ought to know that. 

Just remember that Abraham Lincoln is the father of our country as it was re-invented in 1865.  Father Abraham - how's that?  Better?  Just gave away an idea to the Republicans and Obamites.
