There is no such thing as free money.The pilot funds are called that because they are not taxes.So they should provide more than we all ready have.If you have a problem with it take it up with the local governments that are getting the funds.And for everyones information i'm not connected with Elk Connected.

You are full of it.

I am not anti-Elk County Government. You have everything all screwed up really bad.

But when elected officials admit or don't deny being Elk Kon nected they are working for a very small group of people in Elk County and not working for the best interest of all of the people in Elk County. Plain and simple. But since yo have admitted to being Elk Kon nected on another thread you can not open your mind or your eyes to the truth. Even in Delaware you think you know what is going on here in Elk County, Kansas when you really don't.

"Da Boss", be the "Old Guard in a New Dress!" Give that some thought. It was explained very well to you on the other thread. But, I forget you don't read for comprehension way over there in Delaware.

Upoladeb I have to disagree with you.

What they call the wind farm money is not the wind farm money, it is county money!
Just like when I pay my taxes it is no longer refered to as Ross's money..
All money the Elk County Government is for County Business, not money to be given away in a Socialist manner as FREE MONEY.

Next the Wind Farm Pays P.I.L.O.T. money which means Payment In instead of full Taxation.
And that simply means they are not paying the full value of property tax as you and I do.
If they were paying full property taxes as you and I do, my best guess is they would be paying something like $6 million Dollars. And I would bet money that the wind farm takes a Federal tax deduction for the money they pay to the county as a tax. Also they would be paying School Property taxes as well.

As I have pointed out many times on this forum they are reading this form if they are any kind ofleaders to know what is going on.

The truth is if the county does not see fit to use money wisely and want to give it away they should return it to all taxpayers not just a few. There are elderly people in this county that do without due to high property  tax rates. And then if the individual communities want to raise their taxes and their residents approve, good deal.

It is

Socialism

when you take money from some people and give it away to other people.

It is FREE MONEY when it is given away.

If our county commissioners were smart they would hold all that money and invest it wisely and eventually Elk County would have enough income from it to operate without property taxes. But even then the county's main function would be to serve the county residents.

Also the County Commissioners have not paid off all the County's debt. What should come first paying off the County's debt of giving away FREE MONEY! And it is FREE MONEY because it is not a loan and is not being required to be returned.

And as someone pointed out to me adding to this mis-justice is it is an election year and votes are being bought. That is very easy to understand because it has not been attempted at any other time.
