Ruth May (Sheel) Durbin, lifetime resident of Moline, Kansas, died Friday, one week before her 78th birthday.

Mrs. Durbin was born December 18, 1892 in Moline, Kansas, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Sheel.  Mrs. Durbin was a member of the Moline Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Friendly Neighbor Club.

Survivors include two sons, Ed and Mahlon, both of Moline, Kansas; two daughters, Mrs. Metta Barnes of Moline, Kansas and Mrs. Alice Frazier of Phoenix, Arizona; three brothers, Emera and Elmer, both of Moline, Kansas, and Roy of LaJunta, Colorado; one sister, Mrs. Reka Stuckey of Hutchinson, Kansas; ten grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley, in 1960.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m at the Moline Methodist Church with the Rev. Monroe Vaughan officiating.  Interment will be in Moline Cemetery under the direction of the Watt Funeral Home.
