Dave Spunaugle, son of John and Christina Spunaugle, was born at Howard, Kansas August 22, 1879, and died June 27, 1932, at Sedan, Kansas at the age of 52 years, 10 months and 5 days.

He was united in marriage to Etta Dougherty who preceded him in death five years ago. He was a good husband and those who knew him respected him as a good and honest neighbor.  Dave had been in ill health for two years.

His father and mother, one sister, Bell McMullen, two brothers, Bert and Charles have preceded him in death, his brother Charles passing to the great Beyond just eleven days ago.

He leaves to mourn his departure three brothers, William and Clarence of Howard, Harry of El Dorado and one sister, Maude McLean of Neodesha, Kansas.

The remains of the deceased were brought to Howard from Sedan yesterday and interment was in Grace Lawn cemetery where short services were held at 2:30 o'clock, June 28th with Rev. W. C. Chappell, pastor of the Howard M. E. church in charge.
