Ralph L. Lilley was born on September 15, 1935 in Piedmont, Kansas to Frederick Wayne and Clarice (Criger) Lilley.  Ralph passed away on October 20, 2015, having reached the age of 80 years old.

Ralph was a member of the United States Armed Forces serving in the Army National Guard for 9 years.  He married Judith Ann Martin on June 5, 1960 in Eureka, Kansas.  He worked for refineries for 30 years as a physical tester and gauger.  He was a member of the First Christian Church in El Dorado, Kansas where he served as a Sunday School greeter, youth sponsor, elder, and deacon.  Ralph was an avid gardener who loved gardening and giving others the fruit of his labors.  His favorite hobby was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  His family was the joy of his life.

Ralph's survivors include his wife of 55 years, Judith; son, Ralph Jr. of Carbondale, Kansas; daughters, Lori (Greggory) Coleman of El Dorado, Kansas and  Susan (Chris) Shipman of Haysville, Kansas;  brother, Frank (Mary) Lilley of Livermore, Colorado; sisters, Helen Butler of Toronto, Kansas and Aline McKenzie of Howard, Kansas; grandchildren, Samantha (Dustin) Coleman-Gurney, Lexi and Leah Shipman, Trevor Beavers, Gregg (KaTina) Coleman Jr, Gregg Coleman III, Grant Coleman, KaRynne Coleman, Steven Coleman, Jennifer Coleman, Genevieve Zumo, Phillip McCoy, Zakkary McCoy, Shane Beavers, Stacey Randles, Brianna Randles, Buddy Randles, Zack Randles, Joseph Randles, and Jordan Wallin.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bob Lilley; and his sister, Carolyn Kay (Lilley) Knudsen.

Funeral services will be held October 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church, 300 W.
