Uh, very nice, but where was he in 1909?

Answering a question with a question? Figures. No information? Toss it back. ::) Check out the dates on the constitutional amendments, especially #16.  David's opinion was nice, but irrelevant by then.

redcliffsw

Certainly, you see the Crockett opinion as irrelevant.  That's no surprise.  Your stated political solutions reflect modern day socialism for Americans.

Diane Amberg

I suppose you are an expert on all things David Crockett? Do you know his history or just the legends? Have you ever been to San Antonio? I'm not the writer of such things, but the people who live where things actually happened tend to have more real historians, who know actualities and details.

I'm thinking that you're more of a community organizer type.  That's the kind of people you want in power - they're called tyrants.

Davy Crockett was not a tyrant.

Diane Amberg

By the way, he never went by "Davy." That was from the TV show. Hope that's not where you got all your information about him.
Still trying to insult me with labels, huh? Tain't working.

redcliffsw

You like being a socialist - I know that.

Diane Amberg

At this point the best retort is...ignore.
