Janice Alma Allison, age 86, of Howard, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Howard Twilight Manor.  She was born November 19, 1928 in Spencer, West Virginia, the daughter of Robert and Ethel (Stracher) Wright.

Janice married Arthur Allison on June 1, 1953.  They were married 55 years before Art passed away on January 8, 2009.  She was a member of the Flint Hills Assembly of God Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.  Janice enjoyed knitting and crocheting and loved being outdoors, gardening, and helping on the farm.

Janice is survived by her daughter, Brenda Coble of Howard, Kansas; sister-in-law, Pam Wright; nieces, Janice Nading, Maxine Thorne, and Patsy Lay; great-niece, Tabitha Harper; nephews, Cleon James, Steve James, and Russell Wright; and great-nephews, Mikey Nading, Levi Nading, and Brian James.  She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Robert and Ethel; her sisters, Betty Hufford and Ruby Noletensmyer; her brothers, Raymond Wright, Roy Wright, and Robert Wright; and a nephew, Charlie Waggoner.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Flint Hills Assembly of God Church in Howard, Kansas.  Memorials are suggested to the family to help with the cost of the service and may be made at the funeral home.  Countryside Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1233, Howard, Kansas is in charge of cremation.
