MRS. JULIA HAINLIN LAID TO REST FRIDAY AFTERNOON

The funeral services of Mrs. Julia Hainlin, who passed away Thursday of last week, were held at her home on West Fourth Avenue at 2:30 Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. G. W. Crosby of the Federated church.  A large number of friends of the family attended.  The floral offerings were beautiful.

A mixed quartet composed of Mrs. Conway, Mrs. Adamson, Mr. Brighton and Mr. Hayward sang "Rock of Ages" and "Nearer My God to Thee".  The pallbearers were C. C. Carson, Chas. O. Walters, Bert Cook, Frank Miller, Phil Erdman and Glenn W. Smith.

Mrs. Hainlin was one of the oldest citizens of Longton and highly respected.  She was laid to rest beside her husband in Longton cemetery.  The family has the sympathy of a large circle of friends.

At the age of 12 she came to Kansas and at the age of 18 she was united in marriage to Fred W. Hainlin at Howard, Kansas, who having preceded her in death 32 years, passing on at the age of 62 years.

To this union 7 children were born, five of them live to mourn her death.  Mrs. Hainlin has made this community her home since the date of her marriage.  She was converted and joined the Episcopalian church in her young life.  She was also a member of the W.R.C. of Longton.  In fact she was honored a few weeks ago as the only living charter member.
