Naomi May Lacy, age 83, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015 in Haysville, Kansas.  She was born on September 21, 1931 in Howard, Kansas, the daughter of H. Glen and Alvie (Perry) Knapp.

Naomi attended rural school at Paw Paw and graduated from Severy High School, class of 1949.  On October 14, 1950, she married Tom Lacy in Wichita, Kansas.  She worked for the Derby Public Schools District #260 for several years and retired in 1992.  She was a longtime resident of the Wichita area.  Naomi enjoyed participating in Arts and Crafts shows and traveling.

Naomi is survived by her children, Glenda Couch, Steve Lacy, and Rebecca Lacy, all of Wichita, Kansas and Debbie Sisco of Mulvane, Kansas; 5 grandchildren, Robin, Shannon, Heather, Amanda, and Jerrod; and 10 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Lacy, Olivia, Robbie, Jordyn, Cody, Mason, Ethan, Kaleb, and Wyatt.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tom; brothers, Melvin and Darrell; sister, Arlene; and a daughter, Cathie.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at South Lawn Cemetery in Severy, Kansas at 10:00 a.m.  There will be no visitation prior to the service.  Memorials have been suggested to Harry Hynes Hospice and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Services have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas 67349.
