Green--Bacus Marriage

Miss Opal Bacus, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Bacus became the bride of Mr. Cecil  L. Green at 7:30 Saturday evening, March 22nd. The wedding took place Christian church parsonage at Howard in the presence of J. J. Stiles of Grenola and John Bacus of Howard with Rev. J. F. Schaltz officiating.  The bride wore a beautiful French beige georgette dress and a tan hat to match.  The groom wore a dark suit.

The bride is one of Elk County's popular and successful teachers, who graduated from the Howard high school and has lived near Howard all her life.  She has taught the past seven years and attended summer school at Emporia and Pittsburg.

The groom is an ambitious young man of good morals and high ideals, is a graduate of Pittsburg high school and has taught seven years of school in Elk County.  He has lived near Moline most of his life and is very well known here and in other parts of the county where he has taught.

The many friends of this young couple wish them a happy wedded life.
