Dear Lloyd,

It is said that love of money is the root of all evil.

But fiat currency – fake money – is the root of many, if not most, of our political evils.

The Federal Reserve is creating fiat currency with abandon.

And it has never been fully audited in over 100 years of existence!

Fiat currency, you see, is what makes it politically possible to burden the American people with 18 trillion dollars of debt.  With real money, the additional interest on this debt alone – roughly one trillion dollars per year - would make this burden politically unacceptable.

Fiat currency makes it impossible for seniors to save for retirement without becoming lucky stock speculators or savvy real estate investors.  With real money, people were able to retire on simple savings accounts earning roughly 5% interest without inflation, and they often did exactly that.

Fiat currency and the resulting artificially low interest rates fuel weak investments such as extravagant sunbelt vacation homes and McMansions for all, only to lead to mass foreclosures and economic destruction when the bubble bursts on these weak investments.

You see, fiat currency creates these boom and bust cycles, with the greatest financial disaster in U.S. history – the Great Depression – starting only 16 years after the Fed was created in 1913!

We can fully expose the Fed's practices – the bailouts, the crony handouts, and the boom-bust policies - with a full audit.

The good news is that right now, the Federal Reserve Transparency Act - H.R. 24 in the U.S. House and S. 264 in the Senate – will do just that.

The bad news?

Kansas Senator Pat Roberts is not a cosponsor of S. 264.

Kansas Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins is not a cosponsor of H.R. 24.

Contact them immediately and demand that they become cosponsors of the "Audit the Fed" bills in their respective chambers!

And unless good folks like you help to rapidly INCREASE the number of cosponsors to the "Audit the Fed" bill, we may miss the best opportunity in the past 100 years to finally EXPOSE the Fed!

Right now, thanks to the help of good folks like you, more Americans than ever understand the destructive influence the Federal Reserve has on our economy.

But that hasn't stopped the Federal Reserve's madness.

Just a few years ago, Ben Bernanke pumped more than one TRILLION in U.S. taxpayer dollars to his cronies in overseas banks - without a shred of oversight or accountability.

And the GAO audit of the 2008 bailouts revealed how the Fed handed over Bear Stearns to JP Morgan Chase bank for seven cents on the dollar, after the Fed bought $28.8 billion in toxic debt off of the Bear Stearns balance sheet, at full face value!  Dozens of deals like this were made in the 2008 bailouts!

Now, with $18 TRILLION in national debt and growing, Congress' out-of-control spending, and the Fed's ongoing multi-billion dollar a day Federal Reserve "economic stimulus" printing spree, every shred of American wealth is threatened.

The Fed's bankster pals, who line their pockets looting American wealth, would love nothing more than to sweep the Audit the Fed issue under the rug.

That's why it's so important to get a majority of Senators signed onto the bill as cosponsors right away!

Contact Representative Jenkins and Senator Roberts immediately and demand that they become cosponsors of the "Audit the Fed" bills in their respective chambers!

With passage of Audit the Fed, the American people will finally see that the Federal Reserve System leads to:

*** Ever-expanding Big Government boondoggles like "ObamaCare." Once politicians figure out the Fed will just print money out of thin air to pay the bills if taxing and borrowing can't make ends meet, the floodgates open wide for even more of the statists' utopian plans;

*** Constant economic crises. The housing crisis and the resulting chaos is just one example of an economic bubble created by centrally planned interest rates and money manipulation;

*** The destruction of the middle class. As fuel, food, housing, medical care, and education costs soar, everyone who is NOT on the government dole is forced to make do with less as the value of their money slowly decreases;

*** Currency destruction. History shows us that riots, violence, and full-scale police states can result when people finally realize our money isn't worth the paper it's printed on and REFUSE to accept it.

*** The destruction of our values.  Loose monetary policy makes fools of those who practice the basic American virtue of thrift, as it destroys their savings with inflation.

*** The bankruptcy of America.  China and Russia want to end the reign of the US dollar as the world's trading currency, and are already buying gold and silver mines and bullion as fast as they can to back their currencies.  Every unbacked dollar printed by the Fed makes other currencies that much more attractive to traders.  When the US dollar is no longer the world's dominant trading currency, interest rates on US bonds will rise to levels that will add literally hundreds of billions, and possibly even trillions, to our annual debt, resulting ultimately in US bankruptcy or worse.

With Campaign for Liberty's committed grassroots activists in states all over the country ready to turn up the heat, we can have more of an impact RIGHT NOW than ever before.

Thanks to the support of good folks like you, we have made great strides in our fight to Audit the Fed.
