Floyd E. Cole, age 86, of Fall River, Kansas, died Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the Eureka Nursing Center in Eureka, Kansas.  Floyd was born in Wichita, Kansas on February 27, 1928, the son of Robert and Junie Cole.

Floyd was married to Hellen Freeman.  To this union were born two children: son, Floyd E. "Buddy" Cole Jr. and daughter, Debbie D. Cole.  Floyd drove the mail truck for several years.  He enjoyed raising cattle and working on his farm.

Cremation has been requested, and a graveside service will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Fall River, Kansas at a later date.  Memorials have been suggested to the Annual Fall River BBQ and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.  Services have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 420 S. 20th Street,  Fredonia, Kansas 66736.
