Charles Leo "Charlie" Rizzuto, age 74, a resident of Howard, Kansas, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Galichia Heart Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.  He was born on July 28, 1940 in Angola, New York, the son of Charles and Anna (Palumbo) Rizzuto.

Charlie worked in auto body repair and was known as one of the best in the business.  He also taught auto body at vocational schools.  Charlie also worked as a pipe fitter while living in Louisiana.  He enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Charlie is survived by sons, Charles and Sandi Rizzuto and Joseph and Jen Rizzuto; daughters, Laurie and Ralph Lange, Mary Robin and Chad Newmaster, Sandy and Ken Henderson, and Christina Foran; stepdaughter, Cherry and Glenn Illg and Carla and David Laiche; brothers, Angelo and Michael; sister, Carmy; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; his sister, Betty; and one granddaughter, Sandra Dupre.

Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Angola, New York.  Memorials are suggested to the Lions Club and may be left with the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Arrangements are under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E.
