TALIAFERRO, Timothy Flock - b. June 30, 1960 - d. June 22, 2014

Timothy Flock Taliaferro, age 53, passed away June 22, 2014 at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute, Kansas.  Timothy was born on June 30, 1960 in Winfield, Kansas, the son of Raymond Taliaferro and Mary (Flock) Taliaferro-Hukle. 

On August 1, 1987, Timothy married Phyllis Ann Spurrier in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Timothy enjoyed being a HAM radio operator and being a Storm Spotter for the National Weather Service.  He also liked to spend time praying for other people with needs.  His favorite thing to do was spending time with his two daughters and his wife.

Tim is survived by his wife, Phyllis Taliaferro; his mother, Mary; his daughters, Christine Wild and husband, Chris of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Haley Schattuck and husband, Paul of Chanute, Kansas; and his brothers, Marty Taliaferro and wife, Helen of Severy, Kansas, Dana Taliaferro and wife, Christal of Severy, Kansas, and Scott Taliaferro of Wichita, Kansas.  He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Taliaferro.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the South Lawn Cemetery in Severy, Kansas.  The family has suggested memorials to Church of Christ in Chanute, Kansas and the American Diabetes Association and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.  Countryside Funeral Home, Johnson Chapel, 101 N.
