Great weather for tomatoes. Below is a picture of the last 3 days picked. I have already given my neighbors some also.

My Dust Garden is thriving today thanks to our latest Haboob:

What's a Haboob, you ask?
Dust and sandstorms are common in the Middle East, where the Arabic term "haboob" comes from. Here, the word has come to mean a powerful dust storm, the kind with towering walls of dust. Some object to the use of the foreign term, but in any case, "dust storm" is just as accurate. The definition of a dust storm is blowing dust that reduces visibility between 5/8 and 5/16 of a mile; a heavy dust storm is one that reduces visibility to less than 5/16 of a mile. Anything else would simply be called blowing dust.

Enough of that... after Haboob blew thru... RAIN!  Blessed rain... after 122 days of NO rain, Monsoon is finally here!:

Whoops... sorry... got carried away.

The desert rain frog says there will be more rain to follow...

...and  he's probably right.  Tomorrow, we get hit again.
